Working as a freelancer for Social Chain, I had the pleasure of conceptualizing the identity and packaging system for a new skincare brand - Modest Skincare©. The product range promises only essential and natural ingredients. With this in mind, I started with developing a logo that actually aimed to be as simple and modest as possible.
The all-lowercase form communicates a minimal and clean brand character that is approachable and earnest. Another feature of the product is its key ingredient which is a Seaweed Extract. To incorporate this into the identity I added a rich a natural green colour accent to the monochrome palette, bringing some energy and personality into the reduced design.
